‘Inventors and innovators’ is the theme for this year’s International Women in Engineering Day, and although engineering is an industry typically, or rather, stereotypically, dominated by men, we’re beginning to see an increase in female Technician / supervisors / engineers, At Amps we encourage and hire female Electrical technicians / female cleaners, supervisors / Engineers traditionally in India the FM industry has been plagued with a lack of infrastructure, facilities and a gender bias that has restricted the entries of women into the facilities engineering services workforce.
Large number of women are graduating from technical colleges, but they are attracted primarily to the IT Industry or white-collar jobs. This situation is gradually changing in the modern day.
Amps Facilities Management Services Pvt Ltd as an equal opportunities’ employer has ensured that female technicians and engineers are given all the facilities and opportunities to join our facilities engineering team in the discipline of their choice.
"We now live in a world where women can do just as good as a man's job, and we shouldn’t be seeing or hearing about any woman, or anybody for that matter, experiencing discrimination or inequality.”
